Still alive, if you were wondering...

  • Reading: "Anatomie Artistique de l'homme" by A. M
  • Eating: just finished lunch

... and married (well, just legally, the religious ceremony will be next June - looong story) and working a lot for different clients and making some theather and getting ready for my next trips (a WE in Turin at my bro's and a pseudo-honeymoon in Egypt in November)

No, I'm not dead :P

Just updating after reading :icondarkbones:'s review on my latest deviation: I'm not dead, I'm fully alive (I'm even tempted to add a more alive than ever).

A lot of thing have changed since the last time I've updated this journal:
1. I've created my own company (and Asterix was right about the Fools' House)
2. I've worked a lot for those four cats that are my clients (at the moment, I've not yet launched the advertising campain)
3. Done with the first year of classes and started the second (but this year are just 3, when last year they were 7)
4. An last but not least, we have started with the preparatives for our marriage

As you can see, right now my life has taken a route that I never thought of, and I have to say that it fills me with joy and satisfaction.

Bonne Anniversaire à moi!! XDDD

... and today they are 24. And it's also seven months that I'm living a romatic dream with my eyes fully open.
The weather seems quite nice in Paris, even if I don't think it's as warm as in South Italy -where I've spend part of the past holidays with my family.

I've got a details watercolour brush of marten kolinsky from Chris (the other one is a petit gris, for big surfaces) that I'm eager to use. Have got also some money from my brother, who gave me a commission as well for a patch: hope it will go well, since it's a "private initiative" and I do not know if such things are allowed or not.

This is my first brithday away home, and I'll do my best to not be the only one.

Christmas Wishes

Thu Nov 30, 2006, 6:23 AM
  • Mood: Yearning
  • Watching: Corto Maltese - La Cour Secrete des Arcanes
  • Drinking: Freres Mariage's Jasmin Mandarin
Taken from

Step 1.

Make a post in your dA journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ... icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for ... on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real-life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Step 2.

Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Step 3.

The List:

1) A job, obviously, even a part time one: I just need to start getting into it (and the money too, life in Paris is a bit expensive :S)

2) Drawings about "History of Modern Fablemark", even if I have not yet begun to translate in English

3) Fanarts about China Doll, obviously ;)

4) To be able to finish all my stories and be able to publish a book

5) To be as happy as I am now, more if you don't mind

6) My loved ones to be as happy as I am now ^_^

7) A Plushie!Tom

8) Lots and lots of Christmas card / Icard

9) To be a better artist/writer

10) a little shiny cuted stone with some metal around it (who has hear to listen... ;) )

My e-mail : madrilena_the_blackcoat@hotmail.com

Copy and paste this in your journal if you want, I'll do what I can to make your wishes come true.

I should be tidying up my p'tit lovenest, especially the bedroom which is a real mess, since we're going to have guests at dinner (and I have not yet decided about the dessert! :O_o:), but here I am, updating my journal here :P
Both Chris and I are very happy because we get all my art classes (even if we were too late for Chinese Painting and an atellier with a paintress whose style remind me a lot of Dave Mckeann :cries: ) and one should be at Henry IV too, which makes me feel so cooly snobbish 8-)

Maybe it's better if I move my lazy self and do all the things I need to do, hoping that I have enough time to go to Luxembourgh to draw a bit.
